Hour 1 of Ottawa Now for Mon. May 12th, 2025

May 12, 2025
Beacon Hill-Cyrville councillor Tim Tierney is calling on the City of Ottawa to examine potential improvements for the municipality’s road markings. He says today’s markings are fading away at a faster rate, and we are staring down the barrel of a consequential safety hazard if the status quo remains the same. Whether you are a driver, or a cyclist, or a pedestrian, how safe do you feel? Guest host Chris Holski opens the debate floor with Marko Miljusevic, a board member of Strong Towns Ottawa. Meantime, the Ottawa Charge have a big game coming up on Tuesday night, and they are likely still recovering from Sunday’s marathon in Montreal. TSN’s Kenzie Lalonde finds the time to lend her voice on today’s program before it cries for help.
