Don’t Touch July 1

April 3, 2017

The thought of celebrating national pot day makes me mad.

There are so many  ways Canadians celebrate  July 1, Canada Day--A family picnic, a walk in one of our many parks, attending the Parliament Hill ceremonies/activities or by watching the fireworks at night. It is indeed a special day for me and for all Canadians. It is a day to remember all of the things that make up our great country.

So, if I understand correctly, the time table for making marihuana legal is set for July 1, 2018.

I for one say “no". Don’t turn July 1st into a giant pot party. There are too many reasons to celebrate the birth of our nation. Making the use of a psychoacitve plant legal is not one of them.
