Fox shot, paralyzed in Ontario town prompts animal cruelty investigation

A fox that had to be euthanized because it was paralyzed after being shot multiple times has sparked an animal cruelty probe by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
A small claims court has ruled that the Ottawa Police Service Board violated the Charter by arbitrarily and unfairly restricting speakers critical of the police at its meetings.

Ontario Provincial Police have identified the remains at the centre of an ongoing murder investigation as those of a man who went missing from the Smiths Falls area two years ago.
