Child porn offenders should be buried under a prison, Manitoba premier says

Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew is joining other premiers in denouncing a Supreme Court of Canada ruling on child pornography. Kinew, a New Democrat, says he stands with Smith, Ford and others, and says offenders should not only go to prison but should be denied protective custody and be buried under the prison.
The elections law violations stem back six years, to a July 2019 candidate nomination contest in Sydney—Victoria that Battiste won.

After some unseasonably warm fall weather in southern Ontario in recent days, temperatures are forecast to fall in the days ahead and will likely result in an approaching weather system bringing the first significant snow to the region, including the GTA.
