After months of back and forth between the Quebec government the province's doctors, MNAs convened at the National Assembly Friday as the Legault government made good on its threat to force through a special law to change the compensation model for both family doctors and medial specialists.
Liberal House leader Steven MacKinnon says the government does not have enough votes at the moment to pass the upcoming federal budget — and he’s pressing opposition parties to consider whether they want another election.
