Summer 2025 has turned into a series of on-and-off shutdowns for LRT Line 1. And for those who are crossing their fingers for a reprieve, those disruptions are expected to continue until at least early-Fall. RTM says they will be performing work on Line 1 between September 26th and October 5th, which means no Line 1 service after 8PM on September 26th. Joining us to elaborate on the burden this has caused for Canada’s grocery stores is Sebastian Prins. He is the Director of Ontario Government Relations at the Retail Council of Canada.
