Turning our attention to alcohol consumption, and where we find our booze, a jaw-dropping 86 Beer Stores across the province have been shuttered by the Ford government since the Alcohol Expansion Plan took off. Thanks to these closures, people have had to turn to other avenues or places to drop off their empties. However, not everyone wants to take them. Joining us to elaborate on the burden this has caused for Canada’s grocery stores is Sebastian Prins. He is the Director of Ontario Government Relations at the Retail Council of Canada.
The Ministry of Health said it was kicking off consultations that would also let optometrists bypass physicians in some cases and psychologists prescribe antidepressants.
