Carney says Canada to align retaliatory tariffs on U.S. with Trump's

Prime Minister Mark Carney says on Sept. 1 Canada will drop some retaliatory tariffs on American products to match U.S. tariff exemptions for goods covered under the USMCA. Carney made the announcement at a news conference in Ottawa after meeting with his cabinet.
Amid reported problems at CRA call centres and months of job cuts, the agency has been asked by Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne to improve services within 100 days. Read More

Graham Greene, who was Oscar-nominated for his role in Dances with Wolves and was appointed a member of the Order of Canada, has died at the age of 73.
Greene’s management team in Stratford, Ont., said that he died on Monday following a long illness.
“He was a great man of morals, ethics and character and will be eternally missed,” Greene’s agent Michael Greene (no relation)
