Statistics Canada reports wholesale sales up 0.1 per cent at $84.2 billion in May

Statistics Canada says wholesale sales, excluding petroleum, petroleum products, and other hydrocarbons and excluding oilseed and grain, edged up 0.1 per cent to $84.2 billion in May.The agency says the increase came as the personal and household goods subsector rose 3.5 per cent to boost sales.

Members of the Canadian military’s only ceremonial mounted troop got to meet and chat with the King Monday at Windsor Castle.
The 26 soldiers from Lord Strathcona’s Horse, a Canadian Forces tank regiment based in Edmonton, are in England to fill the role of the King’s Life Guard at Buckingham Palace until July 21. King Charles III hosted them Monday at Windsor Castle.
