It serves as the blueprint for an equitable health system, anchored in primary care and integrated community care. The organization is also calling for a faster shift from hospital-centric services, pivoting to a more prevention-focused and people-centred care. Guest host Chris Holski digs deeper with RNAO CEO Dr. Doris Grinspun in Hour 2. Over in Smiths Falls, they are declaring a food insecurity emergency, as the number of residents relying on food banks continues to rise. We gather the latest details from Natalia Soteroff, the Executive Director of the Smiths Falls Food Bank. Plus, it’s been 10 years since former CFRA newsanchor Lauren Davis suddenly passed away. CFRA’s Chris Wyss joins Holski to reflect on her life and legacy.
