Hockey Gods gift Maple Leafs to Sens as reward for returning to the playoffs

The City of Ottawa is abuzz today already and it’s not even 10 AM. 

Finally, our beloved Ottawa Senators hockey team is returning to the NHL playoffs and what happens? We get to face our arch rival in the first round: The Toronto Maple Leafs.

The team that has achieved absolutely nothing in the playoffs since our absence. They have fumbled and stumbled and now they will face their greatest challenge yet 

And, for the Senators and Captain Brady Tkachuk, what a prize to receive after 8-years of struggling to get over the playoff hump, and now finally achieving it.  Prime Time against one of Canada’s most storied franchises. An original six club and our arch rival in the next rendition of the Battle of Ontario.  It doesn’t get any better than this.
