Hour 2 of Ottawa Now for Wed. March 12th, 2025

March 12, 2025
Effective April 11th, the United States is tightening the rules on how long its visitors can stay. And while this registration process might be free for Canadians, it’s a big lengthy. Stephen Fine, the President of Snowbird Advisor, vents his frustrations in Hour 2. Meantime, after U.S. President Trump launched tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum products this morning, Canada is hitting back with dollar-for-dollar retaliation. We dig deeper with Patrick Leblond, a Professor of Business and Public Policy at UOttawa.
