A recent survey from CIBC said that two-thirds of Canadians say recent economic changes, including inflation and the cost of living, have made them adjust retirement plans.

The head of the RCMP says he sees no evidence that significant volumes of fentanyl from Canada are being smuggled into the United States.The deadly opioid is a pressing Canadian problem, RCMP Commissioner Michael Duheme says. However, he stressed that he is not aware of numbers that show fentanyl is crossing south in what U.S. President Donald Trump calls massive quantities to justify threats of tariffs on this country. The levies on all Canadian imports could be announced as soon as Tuesday.
