Canada’s premiers have been invited to the White House for a meeting with “senior advisers” to U.S. President Donald Trump, according to a spokesperson.The premiers, in Washington to advocate against U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods, will meet with unnamed officials at the White House later Wednesday, said Paola St-Georges, a spokesperson for the Council of the Federation, which represents the 13 provincial and territorial leaders.
