Amidst our country’s political uncertainty, the incoming U.S. President has been tweeting relentlessly about the idea of Canada joining forces with America. The ‘51st State’ was deemed to be a funny joke at first, but the soon-to-be former Prime Minister and Canada’s top Cabinet Ministers are taking Donald Trump’s words very seriously. Justin Trudeau said that Trump’s vision has a ‘snowball’s chance in hell’ of becoming reality, while Ontario’s Premier is making a counter-offer to America’s top politician.
