B.C. man sentenced to life in prison for murdering former Air India suspect, but those behind hit remain unknown

Soon after Tanner Fox and another young hit man sprayed seven bullets at close range into former Air India bombing suspect Ripudaman Singh Malik’s Tesla, Mr. Fox returned home and took photos of himself holding stacks of $100 bills, which a B.C. Supreme Court Justice inferred was likely his bounty.Mr. Fox, now 24, apologized Tuesday to the family of Mr. Malik at New Westminster Supreme Court, before a judge handed him a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole for 20 years.
