Green Party candidate urges youth to vote, June 12th

June 10, 2014

On the campaign trail I'm finding many people are not interested in voting...

Thursday is your chance to tell those who hope to be in charge of the province that 'business as usual' is not working. Especially for young people [I am not young but have University age kids and teach High School so I have a 'clue'] getting educated without lots of debt and then finding a well paying, full time job is nigh impossible.

Have you noticed? NOBODY is talking about youth issues!

Nothing about education, nothing about training, nothing about apprenticeship, nothing about too many kids graduating from University with degrees that get them nowhere...

Wonder why that is?
The young DON'T vote !!!
The way life works is simple; the squeaky wheel get the oil.

So, if you want your voice to be heard - VOTE!

Don't complain because nobody is listening... unless you vote.

Now, of course, I am slightly bias, being a Green party candidate, thinking that you should vote Green... why? Because our core demographic is YOUNG PEOPLE ! So logically if they vote for us, together with the fact that many of our candidates are in their 20s, the Greens will address youth issues.

So do yourself a favour, vote Thursday, and if you like what the Greens stand for, vote Green.

But most important of all - just VOTE !
