All four of the Toronto Blue Jays relievers in Game 6 of the World Series wrote “51” on the sides of their cap as a tribute to Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Alex Vesia, who is missing the Major League Baseball championship as he and his wife navigate a personal matter. Dodgers outfielder Kike Hernandez and L.A. manager Dave Roberts said they were moved by the tribute. (Nov. 1, 2025)
