Trick or Treat with the Mayor in support of the Ottawa Food Bank’s Baby Basics Program

Mayor Mark Sutcliffe will host the 17th annual Trick or Treat with the Mayor event on Saturday, October 25 in support of the Ottawa Food Bank’s Baby Basics Program.

Spooky season is upon us! So come Trick or Treat with Mayor Mark Sutcliffe at Ottawa City Hall…if you dare!

 

Witches and reapers guard the entrance to the Heritage Building, leading you from treat to treat down its shadowy halls where villains lurk, ghosts whisper, and wonderful magic stirs.

 

Beyond the haunted doors, the courtyard glows with a pumpkin patch and costumed characters from worlds both heroic and enchanted, waiting to surprise you under the moonlit sky.

 

Something spooky, something sweet - this is one Halloween at City Hall you won’t want to miss!

 

The City of Ottawa is proud to partner with Treat Accessibly to help make trick-or-treating accessible and inclusive for everyone.  

 

Date: Saturday, October 25

 

Time: 5 to 8 pm

 

Location: Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West

 

Admission: A non-perishable item or cash donation to the Ottawa Food Bank’s Baby Basics Program is recommended.

 

The Ottawa Food Bank’s Baby Basics Program helps parents in need by providing high-demand items such as formula, baby food and diapers. Chronic shortages of these basic needs make stocking baby supplies one of the Food Bank’s most expensive, but most precious priorities.

Security screening will be required for entry. Please note this is not a nut-free event.

 

Dress for the cold weather as the queue to enter the Heritage Building from Lisgar Street will be outdoors and the event will proceed rain or shine. Please bring your own treat bag.
