2 dead in separate drownings in Manitoba on Saturday: RCMP

Manitoba RCMP say they were busy with two separate reports of drowning over the weekend: one near Steinbach and the other at Grand Beach.

The motorcyclist was first taken to a local hospital but, due to the severity of the injuries, was then airlifted by Ornge aircraft to an Ottawa hospital. The highway was closed, but has since reopened in both directions. Read More
