Ontario officially cancels $100-million Starlink contract but won't reveal kill fee

Ontario has officially cancelled its $100-million contract with Starlink, but the province refuses to say how much it cost taxpayers to get out of the deal. The deal, announced last year, was to deliver high-speed internet to 15,000 residents in rural and northern Ontario.
The notice was posted on its website, and organizers said the event – which began in 2012 as a nod to the famous festival in Munich, Germany – will be back next year.
