The mental health of Canada’s public service employees is, once again, under the microscope. According to new data released by the Treasury Board Secretariat, more employees are experiencing higher stress levels, which means their mental health is at risk of being compromised. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your present-day stress level at your workplace? Has it improved or declined compared to 2 years ago? TFI International Inc. TFII-T has reported a drop in second-quarter profit as weak demand took a toll on the volume of goods it hauls. Canada’s largest trucking firm reported net income of US$98.2-million for the three months ended June 30, down from US$115.7-million a year earlier. That amounted to earnings of US$1.17 per diluted share, a decrease from US$1.36 during the same 2024 period.
