They are locked, loaded, and ready to fire if the stalemate continues. As for the severity of Canada’s retaliation on American tariffs, that all depends on how next month’s negotiations play out. If a potential deal isn’t in Canada’s best interest, Carney vows to reject it. Is this tough-but-fair approach tough enough?
