Half a dozen First Nations in northwestern Ontario remain without reliable power, after wildfires damaged several utility poles over the weekend. Here's how Wataynikaneyap Power and government partners are responding, as food, fuel and other essentials run low in communities such as Pikangikum.

Starting Aug. 1, tolls for all vehicles on the Confederation Bridge will drop from $50.25 to $20. Fares for inter-provincial ferries are also being cut by half.
