Here in Ontario, cataract surgery is considered a ‘medically-necessary’ operation. However, in some cases, lengthy wait times are pushing patients to seek surgical options at private clinics. Today, we are hearing from some of those patients who picked the private healthcare gameplan, and it’s not good news.
