Upcoming road closure on Mitch Owens Road starting July 7

Mitch Owens Road to close east of Bank Street for summer Starting Monday, July 7, Mitch Owens Road will be closed to traffic between Bank Street and Ramsayville Road for the replacement of a culvert.   The road is anticipated to reopen at the end of August.   The road closure is required to facilitate the lifecycle replacement of a corrugated steel pipe culvert. The road closure is required for the safety of the residents and workers.   Signage will be in place in advance to indicate the road closure. Please plan ahead.     Traffic detour   Traffic will be required to follow the detour route.  Signs will be in place to direct motorists to use Bank Street, Rideau Road, and Ramsayville Road as an alternate east-west route.  Pedestrians and cyclists will be accommodated.  Local access Local access will be maintained.
