Ottawa made big gains in ambulance availability last year

The amount of time when there were no Ottawa ambulances available to respond to new calls decreased significantly last year.

Police in Gatineau are investigating the deaths of two people of carbon monoxide poisoning Saturday night. Gatineau firefighters were called to a residence on Boulevard Wilfrid-Lavigne in the Aylmer district just after 7 p.m. The victims were found deceased. The investigation was taken over by police. Police have released no further details.
