Some cyclists in Halifax are shifting into high gear in anticipation of a motion coming to Halifax Regional Council this week.

Police in Gatineau are investigating the deaths of two people of carbon monoxide poisoning Saturday night. Gatineau firefighters were called to a residence on Boulevard Wilfrid-Lavigne in the Aylmer district just after 7 p.m. The victims were found deceased. The investigation was taken over by police. Police have released no further details.
