Hundreds more forced to evacuate in Manitoba as wildfires rage in Western Canada

Hundreds of new evacuations were ordered Saturday in Manitoba as raging wildfires in Western Canada have already forced thousands of people to leave their homes.Residents of Cranberry Portage in the rural municipality of Kelsey, Man., close to the Saskatchewan border, were ordered to head toward Winnipeg, where more than 17,000 evacuees from other areas in the province are already being housed in arenas and soccer fields converted into shelters.
