Crown rests case in Hockey Canada sex-assault trial

Crown prosecutors wrapped up their case against five former members of Canada’s 2018 world junior hockey team accused of sexual assault on Thursday morning, with the defence now set to present their evidence. The five players allegedly assaulted a woman, known publicly as E.M, in a hotel room on June 19, 2018, after a Hockey Canada gala.
