Defence lawyer Daniel Brown asserted in a London, Ont., courtroom Monday morning that the woman who has accused five former members of Canada‘s world junior hockey team of sexual assault “was pulling” his client into the hotel room’s bathroom to have sex — and that a witness who was in the room that night will provide this account. The complainant, who is known publicly as E.M., reiterated her previous testimony that she got up to go to the bathroom and was followed by the player, who court has heard was Alex Formenton.
