Last week, the OCDSB unveiled its proposed alterations to elementary school boundaries and school grade structures, significant changes that would affect 30 schools and thousands of students next Fall. Halifax’s water utility says it needs to divert millions of cubic metres of waste water into the Halifax harbour and Bedford Basin as part of maintenance work in the coming weeks.A spokesperson for the utility says the Halifax and Dartmouth waste water systems need “critical” maintenance work, including upgrades to their ultraviolet disinfection equipment.
