HPV infections pose serious risks for both men and women, experts say

HPV infection is most commonly associated with cervical cancer, since roughly 99 per cent of all cervical cancer cases are connected to HPV. Nonetheless, experts warn that HPV is a virus that affects all sexually active people and can lead to a variety of cancers — regardless of gender.

Ontario is seeing a huge surge in measles cases, mostly among unvaccinated patients. Health officials are reporting 372 cases since the outbreak began last October — that's a jump of more than 195 cases since Public Health Ontario's last report on Feb. 27.
