According to a new report, nearly 75,000 Canadians have died waiting for various types of health services since 2018. Whether it’s a waiting line for cancer treatments, or just a simple MRI scan, it is precious time that can’t be wasted. Harrison Fleming, a Legislative and Policy Director with SecondStreet, joins Kristy Cameron in Hour 2. Meantime, the city’s Trillium Line has been up and running for almost 2 weeks now, and we haven’t seen any significant delays so far. It’s been a huge helping hand for the majority of Carleton University’s population, as students and teachers now have another option to get around. Natasha Baldin, The Charlatan’s editor-in-chief, recently hopped on the transit service for a test drive and credits the game-changing perks that benefit the residents who live around the area.
