However, two candidates have already thrown their hats into the ring, while several others lean towards doing the same. Kristy Cameron examines the political landscape in the Red corner with Nelson Wiseman, a Professor of Political Science at the University of Toronto. Meantime, a growing number of parents at Ottawa’s largest school board are furious over a series of controversial cuts. Last week, the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board announced their intentions to shut down nearly 40 specialized classes, some of which include special needs programs.
