Montreal vigil marking 8 years since Quebec City mosque shooting focuses on unity

At a commemoration for the 2017 tragedy that saw six lives lost at a mosque in Quebec's capital, organizers called for bridges to be built with other communities, especially in the current political climate.

Many Ontario colleges have cut programs, put others under review and closed satellite campuses. Cuts have also started in other provinces, and experts worry there will be less choice for students and, in the long run, fewer qualified grads entering the workforce of some sectors.
